Latent Tuberculosis testing

The Liverpool TB team run a clinic at Brownlow Health @ Pembroke Place once a week. Patients will be identified according to risk and invited to come in for testing.

This programme aims to identify new migrants 16 to 35 year olds who recently arrived in England (i.e. in past five years) from countries with a high incidence of Tuberculosis. Testing is done by a blood test, and those with positive results are referred to secondary TB services for further testing and treatment.

More general information about TB can be found here, including a link to a map of high incidence countries.

If you are seeing this message it means the practice is currently closed. During this time our phone lines and eConsults are switched off.

Our opening hours are 8am-6.30pm Monday to Friday, but we also close on bank holidays and on the last Wednesday afternoon of every month for training. You can still browse the site for general information, but if you need help now, click below for options.
