Appointments
Have you considered self care?
Many things get better by themselves, or with simple measures. If you need help with self-managing your problem, we recommend the following:
- NHS Website
- Live Well Liverpool – directory of local care and support services, activities, and information.
- Your local pharmacist
However, if you still require our help, we have a number of options available, outlined below.
eConsultations
If your problem is not suitable for self care, please submit an eConsultation via the home page of our website. We will contact you by the end of the next working day at the latest, and help you get the right help, with the right person, at the right time.
Appointment requests for patients under 18, or those unable to submit an online form, can still be made via telephone or by presenting to reception.
Lateness policy
If you are late for your appointment, you may need to re-book. This is to ensure that other patients are not delayed, and because most problems cannot be adequately managed in anything less than the already restricted consultation time.
Please note that eConsults are switched off when capacity is reached, and a banner will appear above when this happens.
This is generally around 1-2pm each day but can be sooner if demand is very high.
Urgent problems will always still be attended to, and phone lines remain open for urgent problems even when routine capacity is reached.
